She was the first woman in the Bonneville 200 MPH club on a conventional motorcycle in its 61 year history. Leslie set the fastest world record of any woman on a motorcycle at 232 MPH.At that same event I set the 1000 CC production class record. In 2009, Leslie set the top speed (man or woman) on a motorcycle with 240 MPH pass against a record of 227 MPH.

The Gymkhana Grid Series (PART 1,2 & 3) and Ken Block have teamed up to hosted the first Ken Block Invitational, at Irwindale Speedway. Block was the first to bring gymkhana to the American public with a series of viral videos. The driver's goal is to get through the course as quickly as possible with the fewest number of mistakes. Acceleration, braking, drifting & grip driving are all necessary. Not only does the driver have to hold control over the car, but gymkhana requires strong mental concentration and memorization.

A sandrail, or sandcar, or "rail" is a lightweight motor vehicle specifically built for traveling across a wide variety of off-road terrain. Sandrails are popularly operated on sand dunes, such as Glamis, Pismo and Rasor in California. Sandrails are built from a tubular space frame chassis that incorporates an integrated roll cage. The engine is typically at the rear. Sandcars became popular in the 1960s, they used lightweight air-cooled engines like Volkswagen engines from the VW Beetle

THE FINAL FIGHT IRWINDALE, CALIFORNIA WATCH OCTOBER 9TH

The Formula DRIFT Championship will be decided at this final event of the season and drivers will battle one last time to earn the coveted title of Formula DRIFT champion. The track is the home track for most of the drivers and each year the competition grows more intense. The infamous course is challenging and exciting utilizing part of the short oval track and many inside turns. Watch as the drivers go all out one last time for a chance to become the new Formula DRIFT champion.
